DIY Duck Call

The design classic Audubon Bird Call that Mrs PR gifted me at Christmas, and that is currently being put to good use as a keyfob, has prompted me to look out for other nice animal calls. I came across these beautiful Widgeon whistles made out of old shotgun shells and at a couple of quid a pop they're just the ticket. Its not like I'll be needing to turn a flock of ducks anytime soon, but there is something rather lovely about the purity of the construction, the material and the form that really speaks (or calls) to me. Sound advice on usage is here, and how to DIY here. Props to The Dee Wildfowlers who true to their word did send me two for the price of one, just for reading through the whole of their Ebay description.
