The gap in the market for a
Rouleur magazine of lifestyle mountain biking looks to have been plugged by newbie
Cranked. Juicy pics and longform writing make this guy a winner in my book, though it's still a little heavy on the
Singletrack-style bike-handling-skills-slash-personal-fitness-self-depreciation and beer-and-sausage-roll-at-the-end rhetoric for my taste. Particularly impressed by the photographs and very in depth text on the minutiae of bridleway, byway and footpath legalese by Jon Sparks in issue #1 (still available, yo, issue #2 out now also).
