The way I see it, with Winter cycling you have two options; you can either slip into some Roubaix lycra, zip along and expect to get wet; or you can throw on your Bedale and mud guards and be as cool as this guy:

I have to say that, cool as this dude looks, I went out with my wax jacket on the other day when it was raining heavily and I was soaked after about 20 minutes. Not nice!
