L'Eroica

Annual vintage bicycle race L'Eroica is right up my street. Its a return to the masculinity and grit of mid twentieth century sportives, as well as a display of affection for the fashion and flair of bygone cycling eras. Event sponsors Le Coq Sportif have just dropped their beautiful 2012 L'Eroica collection, sensitively reproducing heritage details like single chest and rear pockets on jerseys, mesh backs on gloves and some subdued but rich colourways.
