As a Londoner without a garden I suffer from acute Wanderlust. There are few green, outside spaces that aren't shared with hundreds of others. Having said that, I'm not sure if I could take the plunge and move to the countryside. This article perhaps provides the solution, though I can't decide how morally dubious it is to buy your own plot of English woodland as a picnicking retreat.
