London's infamous M25 orbital motorway rings the city with a radius of between 20-30km, encompassing the entire greater metropolitan area. It therefore becomes a symbolic boundary between town and countryside, like a perimeter fence keeping the two separate. Living in Inner London means at least an hour's ride to reach this point, but the rewards are well worth it. Follow my attempts to break out on my Instagram with the hashtag #escapetheM25.
